Delver, an Israeli company working on social search, has released their initial public alpha version today. The Delver engine uses information from a user's social networks to help refine searches and prioritize results returned.

This prediction is that Delver will come out of Alpha testing by November. Judgement will be based on the logoing available on the Delver website, as well as by announcements directly from the company, if any. Currently the Delver homepage logo includes an "alpha" element. If this is either removed or changed to "beta" (or equivalent) by November then this prediction will be judged a success.
