TUAW received a tip that Apple will announce the next version of Mac OS X, 10.6, at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) next week.
This is a prediction that it will be previewed, either to the press or to developers under NDA, at the WWDC (June 9-13).
If it is shown to developers under NDA, no details will likely be made available to the publc. However, the showing of the next iteration of the Apple OS is all that is needed for this prediction to be judged favorably.
Will it, or won't it?

> Jason Chen: Steve is pulling out the chair analogy. He shows a stool with three legs, Mac, Music and iPhone. (Not sure what happened to the fourth leg). He also said that after lunch, developers will get a sneak peek at Snow Leopard (10.6).
Looks like a yes...
I heard that, too. Once we get some confirmation, we'll judge it. Thanks, everybody!

@Chris, your link doesn't work.
Since everyone is under NDA, we may have to judge this based on the Jobs' promise that it would be previewed today. The NDA could prevent anyone from posting about it.
How odd - the story still shows up in the list at http://www.apple.com/ca/hotnews/, but clicking it goes to a 404.
Regardless, it was spoken out of Jobs' own lips at 10:08am PT. To paraphrase, "After lunch, Bertrand Serlet will be giving us a peak of the new OS X -- Snow Leopard." Judged at S$100. If the preview didn't occur, I'd think we'd have heard the developers singing opera-style by now.
