Firefox's usage share has increased from 16.98% in January to 18.41% in May.
It has made considerable advances in the recent past - this time last year it had just 14.61% of the market.
Firefox's share may increase even more rapidly; Mozilla has just released Firefox 3 on June 17, 2008, which reportedly served nearly 8 million downloads in a single day (admittedly, the vast majority were already Firefox users, but it is still an impressive achievement if true).
This is a prediction that Firefox will, at any point this year, get 25% or more usage share according to Net Applications. Note: The suggestion was revised from 20% to 25% in light of the rapid advances Firefox is making.

Net Applications latest shows Mozilla market share up to 19.17% (this week) relative to 18.41% in May
According to StatCounter, Firefox's market share of the browser market increased from 34.9% to 36% over the two-day period while Internet Explorer fell slightly from 56.3% to 55.4%. I am not entirely familiar or sure of the accuracy of this metric, however.
HitsLink shows Firefox with 19.03% in June
Net Applications has Firefox at 19.23% for July (IE is 73.00% for the month).
Last week numbers from Net Applications .... 19.8% for Firefox. (http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&...)
With IE 8 coming and rising popularity of Chrome, this does not bode well for Firefox reaching 25% anytime this year.
