Nintendo's Wii Fit prices continue to rise on Amazon and eBay today, reaching an average of $175 per unit -- more than double the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $89.99.

Units sold out shortly after the North American release, giving rise to the prices on secondary sellers and bidding websites. Nintendo fans have no idea when the rising price of the Wii Fit will stop, but some worry with Christmas just 191 days away, there isn’t much hope for finding, let alone getting a cheaper Wii Fit in time for the holiday season.

The Wii Fit released just last month to much fanfare, but some accuse Nintendo of deliberately shorting shipments to the United States due to the falling dollar.

More than double?? Uh... let's check the math on that one: $89.99 x 2 = $179.98, which is not less than $175.00

Exaggeration fail.

Pardon, "which is not *more* than $175.00"

Typing fail.

However, you have an article. I do not.

Sorry, just ignore me. I must be on drugs.

The point of my comments is that $175 is NOT more than twice the MSRP of $89.99. Whether I'm capable of communicating that or not, I am not sure. I perform math better than I speak, or in this case type. So sue me.
