Social music site Last.fm has lost record label Warner Music Group as a partner. Warner Music was the first major to do a deal with Last.fm and is a significant blow to the site, which is owned by CBS.

Warner Music counts R.E.M, Nickelback, Eric Clapton and Madonna among their artists.
