Snarb.tk on Friday announced the release of XHub Media Center 2.3, an update to its home theater software. A free update for registered users, XHub Media Center costs US$24.95 to register.

XHub Media Center is an alternative to Apple's Front Row software. The software lets you watch movies, television shows, listen to music, Internet radio, browse the Web and view shows you've recorded using your EyeTV. It has built-in support for Salling Clicker and more.

The new release, version 2.3, is now compatible with Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard." The new version also sports enhancements and improvements to reliability.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
