I'd extend the deadline just

I'd extend the deadline just a bit (perhaps end of July, but leaving the 7/26/08 close date?), but you've got my vote.

The VentureBeat article: http://venturebeat.com/2008/06/26/microsoft-to-buy-semantic-search-engin...

Another article (negative towards the deal): http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/06/holy-desperatio.html

Microsoft to acquire Powerset

According to a June 26 report in Venturebeat, Microsoft is planning to buy semantic search engine Powerset for $100M plus. However, Microsoft has yet to confirm the deal. Supposedly, there will be an announcement next month.

This prediction is that Microsoft will announce a deal to buy Powerset on or before July 26, 2008.
