It is available. You need to install the new iTunes 8. Then, you'll see that there is an NBC channel that also includes sister-networks USA, Sci-Fi and Bravo.

Not that I mind judgment rendered. I believe the criteria is that "NBC shows must be actively available for download". I believe in the Let's Rock event, NBC show "The Office" was demoed in HD. I guess perhaps, the judgment verbiage may be revised to reflect this as well.

NBC content back on US iTunes store this year

Judgment on September 9, 2008: "NBC is coming back to iTunes," Steve Jobs announced at today's special Apple event. Judged at 100%. -- The Industry Standard

Original prediction: Six months ago NBC pulled its TV shows from iTunes.

But it seems that the companies have come to some sort of an understanding, at least in the UK.

Five shows, including Heroes, are now available for download on the UK site.

Also, NBC announced that it is bringing its content to the Zune portable media player. At $1.99 per episode, they get the same price as on iTunes.

Don't forget that NBC had cut ties with iTunes because it didn't like Apple's pricing structure.

This is a prediction that NBC content will be back on iTunes at some point this year. An announcement alone will not be enough for a favorable judgment. NBC shows must be actively available for download, with a new partnership between NBC and Apple being formally announced.

Betting will close on December 26, 2008. Judgment will occur the first week in January unless relevant events occur earlier.
