This one should be already judged based on WWDC announcements today. There 2nd and 3rd condition is not met. See www.apple.com/iPhone

Apple rolls out mobile videoconferencing on iPhone

AppleInsider has an interesting writeup of Kevin Rose's newest iPhone predictions:

"During a 90 second segment of his weekly Podcast show "Diggnation" this past Friday, Rose told viewers that Apple may be restricting third parties from authoring applications that run in both the foreground and background partly because it doesn't want a competitor to its own mobile iChat application that will do just that.

More specifically, he claims that a 3G version of the iPhone hardware due in a few months will employ two digital cameras situated back-to-back -- one on the front side of the unit behind the transparent touch-screen, and a second one on the back of the handset as it exists today."

This is a prediction that must meet the following three conditions in order to be judged favorably:

1.) The next-generation iPhone will include 3G functionality and support.

2.) The next-generation iPhone will feature a front-side, video-enabled camera.

3.) The next-generation iPhone will include a version of iChat, that, coupled with #1 and #2 above, will enable live video-chatting between at least 2 people (there is a question of semantics here in that "videoconferencing" would seem to imply at least three participants, but in the case that the functionality only supports 2 video chat participants, this condition will be satisfied).
